Donate to the Ratkrul Foundation

tibetan elders need health care The Raktrul Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization established in 2000 in Red Hook, New York, USA by the Venerable Bardor Tulku Rinpoche to address the many needs of the people living in the villages surrounding the Raktrul Monastery. Charitable donations to Raktrul are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

At present, all donations to The Raktrul Foundation go to benefit the people in the villages surrounding Raktrul monastery as well as our new Medical Clinic in Sikkim. There are no administrative fees paid to the all volunteer staff of The Raktrul Foundation. As the foundation grows, there may come a time when some donations are needed to for administrative supplies, or fundraising costs.

The Raktrul Foundation is very grateful that we have such a great group of committed and talented volunteers who are going to help serve the Tibetan people who are in great need of medical services.

Help fund our 2021 Mission.

At present the Raktrul Foundation seeks funding for our next Medical Mission. We intend to travel to our clinic in Sikkim, from there our doctors, dentists, translators, nurses and support staff will offer free care to the people of the Himalayas.

Your generous donations made our 2011 Mission a great success. As well, the 2013 and 2014 Missions were very successful. Photos an udpates are on our Facebook Page.

We are now assessing the needs of the people, assembling our team, gathering supplies, and tending to the many details of getting all to Tibet. Your donations to the Medical Fund will be applied to expenses incurred providing medical care.
